From the City of Bellaire:
Bellaire City Library will be closed on December 16 and 17 to complete some technology changeovers required after an unexpected announcement this summer involving the Houston Area Library Automation Network (HALAN).
Library users should expect minor disruption in service at this time of transition. Collaboration with Harris County Public Library will also allow for reciprocal borrowing. Overdrive and Hoopla will still be available. Users with bookmarked sites related to the Bellaire Library will need to update them.
The library staff is ready to answer questions on the go-live date of December 18.
