Bellaire has been deemed the wealthiest town in Texas according to 24/7 Wall St, a Financial news company.

24/7 Wall St.  “reviewed the median annual household income in every American town with a population between 1,000 and 25,000 to identify the wealthiest town in each state. For comparison purposes, boroughs, census designated places, cities, towns, and villages were all considered.”

The news site points out that “The typical household in Bellaire earns $187,895 a year, the most of any town in the state and more than triple the median income of $54,727 across the Lone Star State as a whole.”

They also found that the wealthiest town in each state is usually within commuting distance of a large city, has expensive real estate, and has well educated residents.

Along with high incomes, Bellaire has a median home value of $770,500.

The company cited these statistics about Bellaire:
