Patrons for Bellaire Parks will hold its Annual “Martini Party,” Saturday, February 17th at 7 p.m. at the home of Amy and Michael Gray in Bellaire to kick off the festivities leading up to the 10th Annual Wine and Tapas Gala. Attendees will enjoy a variety of martinis and bites as they celebrate the approaching Wine and Tapas Gala.  There will be an infusion of “Big Easy” panache to complement the theme of this year’s Wine and Tapas Gala, ‘Bellaire’s Big Easy Bash.’

The annual Martini Party is a fundraising event that uses ticket proceeds to stock the ever-popular Wine and Tapas Cork Pull. Ticket prices are $75 per person and available online at: https://www.bellaireparks.org/events/martinis-for-the-big-easy.  “Last year’s event was a sold-out affair; so interested partygoers are encourage to purchase their tickets early to ensure available space.” suggests Martini Party Co-Chairs and Patrons Board Members Amy Gray and Esther Puig.

‘Bellaire’s Big Easy Bash’ will be held at Bellaire Town Square on Saturday March 24, 2018. This year’s honoree will be former Bellaire Mayor and Patrons Board member Cindy Siegel for her extensive work to improve parks in Bellaire over the last 20 years. The net proceeds from the Wine and Tapas Gala will benefit a revitalization of Bellaire’s smaller community and neighborhood parks. The Wine and Tapas 2018 Co-Chairs are Dawn Bloomer, Dr. Johnnie Frazier, and Winfred Frazier.  Co-chair Dr. Johnnie Frazier enthusiastically noted that, “If you want fun and excitement in a festive atmosphere, come to the 2018 Wine and Tapas “Big Easy Bash “ in Bellaire. “It’s a very good time for the city to come together and party New Orleans’ style,” added Win Frazier.  “We’ve got the beads, throws, masks, food, and music!!,” explains Dawn Bloomer.  Additional information can be found on the Patrons for Bellaire Parks website https://www.bellaireparks.org.
