HISD has voted to extend the school day at some area schools that have a late start date due to Hurricane Harvey.
Bellaire High School will have an extended day of 25 minutes for the first semester and Kolter Elementary will have an extended day of 55 minutes for the first semester.
The second semester wiill resume regular schedules.
The following is a list of schools affected.
The board approved an additional 25 minutes of instructional time at these schools:
- Bellaire Highg
- Northside High
- Key Middle
- Robinson Elementary
These schools will have an additional 55 minutes of instructional time:
- Liberty High
- Forest Brook Middle
- Braeburn Elementary
- R.P. Harris Elementary
- Hilliard Elementary
- Kolter Elementary
- Scarborough Elementary
- Mitchell Elementary
