Adults, are you interested in helping us at the Nature Discovery Center care for our nature park? We’re constantly working to improve Russ Pitman Park for local native wildlife and for our park guests.
Join us on Thursday mornings to assist us with a variety of park maintenance tasks and special projects like removing invasive species, growing out & planting natives, watering recently planted plants, maintaining trails, and more.
Thursdays from 9 – 10:30 am
• No experience necessary.
• Experienced staff will work with you & guide you through projects.
• Come dressed for the weather and prepared to get dirty.
• Bring your own gloves and gardening gear or use ours.
