From the City of Belalire:
We will resume regular trash and recycling collection on Monday, July 22.
Debris will continue to be collected by a third party. They will continue to focus on vegetation and work through the weekend and into next week. The city has been divided into four sections for debris pick up and there has been a truck deployed in each of the four sections. They have methodically been working through each street in each section. They pick up where they leave off each day and continue.
They will move on to construction debris when they are finished with vegetation.
Storm-related debris includes vegetation (large tree limbs, tree trunks, leaves, etc.) and construction debris (fence panels, lumber, building material, etc.). Please clearly separate your debris by type and from the trash and recycling.
Tips for placing your storm debris curbside for pick up:
- Separate vegetation (tree limbs, trunks, etc.) from construction debris (fence panels, lumber, shingles, building materials)
- Separate all storm debris from trash and recycling.
- Please do not place debris under a low-hanging tree canopy or utility line.
- Do not bag debris.
- Please do not block sidewalks, water meters, storm inlets, or fire hydrants.
- Do not place items in the street.
- Do not park vehicles in front of debris.
