The City of Bellaire is accepting applications for City board and commission openings. Applications will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. There are currently openings on eight of the City’s boards and commissions as follows: Board of Adjustment (four openings), Building and Standards Commission (four openings), Culture and Arts Board (five openings), Environmental Sustainability Board (three openings), Evelyn’s Park Conservancy Board (two openings), L.I.F.E. Advisory Board (three openings), Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (three openings), and Planning and Zoning Commission (four openings).
The City Council will conduct interviews during the month of June 2024. The term for applicants selected by the City Council to serve on a board or commission will begin on July 1, 2024, and end on June 30, 2026.
