In observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Holiday, all Bellaire City Offices, including the Library and Recreation Center, will be closed and there will be no solid waste services on Monday, January 15, 2024.
City of West University Place
City offices will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 15. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 16.
There will be no curbside trash, recycling, or yard waste collection on this day. Recycling and yard waste normally scheduled for Monday will be collected on Wednesday, January 17. Please hold your trash until your next regularly scheduled day, Thursday, January 18.

Monday’s garbage, yard waste, recycling, and 3rd Monday & 3rd Tuesday’s tree waste will be serviced. All Solid Waste Facilities including Neighborhood Depositories/Recycling Centers, and administrative offices will re-open.
Wednesday, January 17, 2024
Tuesday’s garbage, yard waste, recycling, and 3rd Wednesday’s tree waste routes will be serviced.
Thursday, January 18, 2024
All garbage, yard waste, curbside recycling, and tree waste will resume regular schedule.
