Get ready for an exciting celebration of Earth Day and Evelyn’s Park’s 6th Year Anniversary at Picnic in the Park!
We are so excited for you to join us for Picnic In The Park on Saturday, April 22nd from 12 – 4 PM to celebrate Earth Day and Evelyn’s Park’s 6th Year Anniversary.
There will be a free 5,000 seedling giveaway donated by Trees For Houston. Seedlings include, American Sycamore, Bald Cypress, Bottlebrush, Bur Oak, Eastern Redbud, Elderberry, Live Oak, Pecan, Sweetbay Magnolia, Texas Redbud, and Turk’s Cap. CenterPoint Energy foresters will be on hand to let you know where to safely plant them at your home.
The City of Bellaire Arts Board will be hosting a community rock painting project. Finished rocks will be included in a temporary art installation by Betsy’s at Evelyn’s Park.
The City of Bellaire Environmental Sustainability Board will be hosting their famous Crush the Can and provide everyone with recycling education.
Enjoy The Outliers Band live at the Gilman Subaru Southwest Entertainment Zone, T2 Dance and Instruction, F45 Training Central Houston exercise challenges, crafts, BubbleLick flavored edible bubbles, Tie Dye Shirts, Scavenger Hunts at our Alice and Wonderland Move One One Sculpture, face painting, Gold Party Pix green screen photos, vendors including Los Tios and Happy Sno Lucky, and our 6 Year Birthday Cake cutting at 3 PM.
