City of Bellaire:
In observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday, all City Offices including the Library and Recreation Center will be closed and there will be no solid waste services on Thursday, November 24 through Friday, November 25, 2022. Collection of garbage, recycling and limbs/brush will resume on your next regularly scheduled day.
The Library and Bellaire Recreation Center will be closed on Saturday, November 26, 2022.
The Bellaire Town Square Family Aquatic Center and Elaine Wood Therapy Pool will close at 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 23, 2022. The pools will be closed on Thursday, November 24, 2022 and Friday, November 25, 2022.
Solid Waste Collection Information
City of West University:
City offices will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25. Offices will reopen on Monday, November 28.
There will be no curbside trash, recycling, or yard waste collection on Thursday. Trash, recycling, and yard waste normally scheduled for Thursday will be collected on Wednesday, November 23.
The West University Place Recreation Center will be closed Thursday, November 24 and reopen Friday, November 25.
City of Houston:
Thursday, November 24, 2022 (Thanksgiving Day)
- There will be no collection services.
- All facilities will be closed, including Neighborhood Depositories, Westpark Recycling Center, Environmental Service Center, and The Reuse Warehouse.
- All administrative offices will remain closed for the remainder of the week.
Friday, November 25, 2022
- Thursday’s garbage and yard waste collected
- 4th Thursday & 4th Friday’s tree waste will be collected.
- Curbside recycling will be serviced on your next scheduled collection day, December 8, 2022.
- Neighborhood Depositories, Westpark Recycling Center, Environmental Service Center, and the Reuse Warehouse will remain closed.
Saturday, November 26, 2022
- Friday’s garbage and yard waste will be collected.
- Curbside recycling will be serviced on your next scheduled collection day, December 9, 2022.
- The Neighborhood Depository/Recycling Centers, Westpark Recycling Center, and The Reuse Warehouse will resume normal operations.
