Houston Mayor Pro Tem and City Council Member Ellen Cohen, Mayor Turner, and Chief Acevedo will host a Public Safety Community Meeting for Meyerland neighbors next week, following the recent tragic fatal shooting of a small child in that area. Chief Acevedo and senior HPD staff will update attendees on this incident as well as general crime trends in the Southwest Division.
The meeting will be Monday, June 26th at 6:30PM at the JCC (5601 S. Braeswood).
