The City of Bellaire is accepting applications for openings on City boards and commissions. Applications will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2022. There are currently openings on each of the City’s eight boards and commissions as follows: Board of Adjustment (four openings); Building and Standards Commission (four openings); Culture and Arts Board (four openings); Environmental Sustainability Board (three openings); Evelyn’s Park Conservancy Board (two openings); L.I.F.E. Advisory Board (three openings); Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (three openings); and Planning and Zoning Commission (four openings). The City Council will conduct interviews during the month of June 2022. The term for applicants selected by members of the City Council to serve on a board or commission will begin on July 1, 2022, and end on June 30, 2024.
