From the City of Bellaire:
There have been some concerns regarding the smell and taste of drinking water here in Bellaire. Public Works is aware of this, and the water is 100% safe. We are flushing water lines to improve the taste and smell. Residents can also run cold water for 10 minutes, which will help improve the smell. The City of Houston is experiencing a similar issue in the area. Bellaire purchases 50% of our water from the City of Houston.
