City of Bellaire:
City Offices Closed and No Solid Waste Services for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Holiday on Monday, January 17, 2022.
In observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Holiday, all City Offices will be closed and there will be no solid waste services on Monday, January 17, 2022. Please note the following changes to the solid waste pickup schedule:
- Area A, B & E Garbage: Collection resumes Thursday January 20, 2022
- Area D Limbs/Brush: Collection resumes Monday January 24, 2022

City of West University Place:
City offices, the Community Building, and the West University Place Recreation Center will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 17. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 18.
There will be no curbside trash, recycling, or yard waste collection on this day. Recycling and yard waste normally scheduled for Monday will be collected on Wednesday, January 19. Please hold your trash until your next regularly scheduled day, Thursday, January 20.

Monday, January 17, 2022 (MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DAY)
CITY HOLIDAY: No Collection services. All Solid Waste Facilities including the Neighborhood Depositories/Recycling Centers, Westpark Recycling Center, Environmental Service Center and The Reuse Warehouse will be closed. All services may run a day behind through the end of the week.

Monday’s garbage, B – Week curbside recycling, 3rd Monday & 3rd Tuesday Tree Waste will be collected. Neighborhood Depositories, Westpark Recycling Center and Reuse Warehouse will re-open.

Thursday, January 20, 2022
